Good feet, will move laterally and not let you get set. Above average defensively. Above average hand speed, at least average power. Can be too passive and defensive for stretches. Good counterpuncher. Effective uppercut. Should have gotten the decision over Gaballo but it was a low volume fight with a lot of close rounds. Dominated Russell with speed and counterpunching, dropped and hurt him with a right hand. Fought on the front foot throughout, dropped Lopez and shut him out.
