Counterpuncher that likes to stay in the middle of the ring. Bends and dips a lot, but doesn't use a lot of lateral movement. Will come forward with the straight left if he needs to, controls distance with the jab. Rarely gets hit cleanly, good defensive fighter with subtle movement and quick hands. Doesn't throw a lot of punches though. Occasionally drifts and lays on the inside or slows his work rate and goes all defense. Leo dominated him on the inside.
