Counter puncher. Average hand speed and power. Doesn't use the jab a lot. Looks to land the right hand. Less effective on the back foot but he's not a pressure fighter. Had some moments but was outlanded by Silva in a good fight. Dropped by a Howard left hook, but controlled a lot of the fight before losing a close decision in a fight he probably won.
