Tough slugger that walks in behind a high guard. Pretty accurate even though he swings out of his shoes. Can be outworked. Works the body well, has a good hook and throws the right both straight and over the top. Got the stoppage with the left hook against Acosta. Won a narrow decision over Heno in a firefight. Won a narrow decision over Buitrago with heavier hands. Landed the much bigger shots on Takayama and was way up before the ref stopped it prematurely. Couldn't cut the ring off and was outcountered by Gonzalez in a clear loss. Couldn't stay close enough to Budler and was outlanded and dropped late by a right hand in a clear loss.
